Ill usually break off a piece of the plant and use the gel that oozes out of the leaf as is. Just like that. All natural and no strange chemicals. Aloe is also used for sunburn, minor burns, smal cuts, scrapes, bug bites and treating digestive problems. Now, I've tasted aloe and it is not pleasant... at all. I would suggest boiling it with green tea or even in a smoothie to disguise the bitterness.
This is before the aloe, no make up and of course my face was just recently washed. Just broke off a small piece of aloe from my plant and the gel instantly started leaking from the cracked part. If you don't get enough from just that end than split the leaf open with a knife and rub generously all over face. Make sure there aren't any gelly particles your rubbing and leaving on your skin, they will most likely dry as clumps.
This is after the gel has dried. I love the natural glow and its even a wonderful protectant for the skin when applying make-up. Great way to nourish and moisturize your skin naturally! Aloe vera has many benifits and many uses, its a great topical antioxidant and may be used to prevent wrinkles. Ill make sure to post all of my uses for the wonder plant!
